The
North Dakota Board of Dietetic Practice (NDBODP) consists of
five members who are appointed by the governor. Members who
must be residents of the state, three members must be
registered dietitians, one member a licensed nutritionist
and one member represents a consumer of health services. The
Board licenses registered dietitians and nutritionists. BOARD MEMBERS
Licensed
nutritionists means a person licensed to provide general
nutrition services as provided in the law.
Licensed registered dietitians means a person
licensed to practice dietetics as provided in the law.
Note: It is illegal to practice dietetics
in North Dakota without a license. Before you consult or hire
a registered dietitian, call the NDBODP office at 701-838-2785
to verify the registered dietitian's licensure.
